Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The app stores the following information exclusively on your device:
- Loyalty card information you manually enter or scan
- QR codes and barcodes associated with your cards
- Card names and customization preferences
- Usage statistics for widget functionality (most frequently used cards)
All data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework and is used solely to:
- Display your loyalty cards within the app
- Show cards in lock screen widgets
- Provide quick access to your most-used cards
- Enable card organization and management
Camera Access
Flat Wallet requests camera permission to:
- Scan QR codes from loyalty cards
- Scan barcodes from physical cards
- Capture card information for digital storage
Camera images are processed locally on your device and are never saved or transmitted.
Data Storage and Security
- All your data is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple’s secure SwiftData storage
- Data is protected by your device’s built-in encryption and security features
- Your data is included in your iCloud backup only if you have iCloud Backup enabled in your device settings
- We do not have access to your data at any time
Third-Party Services
Flat Wallet does not use:
- Analytics services
- Advertising networks
- Third-party tracking tools
- External data storage services
- User account systems
Children’s Privacy
Flat Wallet does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app is suitable for users of all ages as it stores data only locally on the device.
